ファンのみなさんと一緒に戦うことのできる大切なイベントだと思っています。
but also is important event that allow us to work together with our fans, I think.
私は争い事や競うことが苦手です。
I really don't like fighting or being competitive.
でもこの場所に立たせてもらって、毎日頑張れるのも、
But being able to stand here and trying hard everyday is
応援してくださるみなさんがいるからだと思っています。
because you are supporting me.
「アイドルになりたい」という夢は、始めは自分だけの夢でした。
My dream of becoming idle was, at first, my own personal dream.
でも今はみなさんが日々の中で嫌なことや辛いことがあった時に、
But now, whenever you have a difficult or painful time,
AKB48の曲を聴いたり握手会やライブに来てくださって、

去年の選抜総選挙で私にとってAKB48はとても大切な場所だと言いました。
In last year's election, I said AKB48 is a very important place for me.
握手会も私にとってはとてもとても大切な場所です。
Handshaking events are very, very important place for me.
直接みなさんと触れ合ってパワーをもらえる特別な場所です。
Special place where we meet you directly, look into your eyes, interect, and where
we can receive strength from you.
今日もこの感謝の気持ちをファンのみなさんに早く直接伝えたいと思っています。
Today also, soon, I want to tell you directly, closely, how thankful I am.
なので、私が言える立場じゃないのもわかるし、いろんな問題があるのもわかっていますが、
